Hey folks!

Dylan and I will be offering acoustic serenades from 7 to 10 p.m. at Bocci and Nantucket Gril in Durham this Saturday.  We’ll be on the patio between two great restaurants, located at Sutton Station in Durham, 1/2 mile north of the Interstate 40 and Fayetteville Road interchange (Exit 276) and just south of Woodcroft Parkway.

We’ll have CDs on hand and lots of good songs!  Come out to hear some new material and keep us company.
Next weekend the whole band is up in Blacksburg VA, Thomas WV, and Charlottesville VA – come on out and see us if you’re around!

Due to inclement weather (thunderstorms!), our show at Bocci in Durham tonight has been cancelled.  We’ll be playing on Saturday at the Pittsboro Carolina Brewery @ 7 – come on out for some harmonies and acoustic action.  Love and sorry to cancel.  But what can we do about Zeuss’ moodswings?

Hello Hello,

Two great FREE shows this weekend (holy cow!).  We’re playing on Friday at Woody’s at City Market in Raleigh from 11 pm to 2, and on Saturday at SAXAPAHAW from 6 to 8!  For me, Saxapahaw is the show I’ve been most excited about all summer.  I love this beautiful place on the Haw River.  It’s got the best food I’ve ever had from a gas station, not to mention the farmers’ market and games of capture the flag (!?).  Both shows are free, so come on out and play with us!

Hi folks! Join us on August 5th for the Wylie Hunter CD Release show.  We’ll be going on first, so get there early – doors are at 7:30.

Lots going on this week. ATTENTION RALEIGH-ITES! We’re playing at Deep South Bar on Thursday (tomorrow night). The show starts at 8 and we’ll go on at 10, after Durham duo Battle Not With Monsters and songstress Anna Rose Beck.  On Friday, we’ll be getting down on the back porch at Harry’s at Whitecross on 54, from 7 to 9.  It’s Free!!!  The whole band will be there rocking our own faces of.  As we tend to do…

Hello, hello-

First, for all you Chapel Hillians: we are selling our CDs at CD Alley on Franklin St. You can walk in there and pick one up for 12 smackeroos.  You can also get them at the Saxapahaw General Store in (you guessed it) Saxapahaw and at the Poplar Knight Spot in Aberdeen.

Had a wonderful weekend visiting with the family.  Came back just in time for a show in Aberdeen at the amazing Rooster’s Wife (Awesome place! Played on the front porch of the old postmaster’s house).  Back in town, we’re gearing up for our show this Friday at the Broad Street Cafe.  The show will start at 10 and we’ll go on at 11, after Durham-based Humble Tripe lays down some tunes.  We’ll also be playing on the radio at 5 pm on Friday on WKNC’s Local Beat. You can tune in online if you’re out of town (last time we played on the radio, we broke the record for online listeners! Let’s do it again…).  And look out for a review of “Traces” in this week’s edition of the Indy Weekly–it will be coming out tomorrow (hold your breath!).

Other than that, not too much doing.  We’re booking short tours in September, so shoot me a line if you think we should come your way.  If you’re persuasive, we just might….

Hey folks,

Just a heads up–our shows for July 9th and 10th have been cancelled.  My grandfather passed away and I’m going out to Arizona to see my family.   We’ve rescheduled Saxapahaw for August 14th, and will be playing at Woody’s Market in Raleigh on August 13th.  Thanks for sticking with us, and I’m sorry for the cancellations.
