WHAT IS A HOUSE CONCERT?

House concerts are concerts in private homes, or backyards, or poolsides, or anywhere really, usually with 20-60 guests. The audiences are generally invited by the host, although the concert could be public or semi-public. Think of them as music parties, with professional musicians playing in your house.

Usually, house concerts are 60 - 90 minutes of music, with a suggested donation of $15-$25, and all money goes to the musician. Most towns have pretty strict rules once it becomes a "business", so it's best to keep it simple like this. There is sometimes a potluck before the show, and often hors d'oeuvres. Alcohol optional!

House concerts are our favorite events to play. We've found that they allow for a deeper connection between the artist and audience. The people are there to listen and connect with each other and the music. It allows for storytelling, getting to know each other on a deeper level, sing alongs, spontaneous jams, and it's a GREAT time!

SO, YOU WANT TO BOOK A HOUSE CONCERT?

Awesome!! We love playing house concerts! We have all of our own gear - speakers, mics, stands, etc. Gear wise, all we really need is an outlet to plug our surge protector into! So, what's needed from you? 

This depends on several factors, mostly whether or not we’re in the area already, but generally we would need at least twenty people in attendance. We’d also need a commitment from you to have a great time and do your best to get an audience out, and if it is a public or semi-public show, we will do the same! And really... that's about it!  

We tour around the country, so we should be able to find a date that works. Below are the rough date ranges/areas we’re looking at for the next several months. If you don’t see a month listed, that just means we don’t yet know where we’ll be and we’re still open to concerts during those times. We can find something outside of that range if needed.
